Vegas Finale, Su95: Penultimate Spanish Jam: Thirty-Eighth Days Between
38/41: Corrina (13:46) -> Drumz (24:30) -> Spanish Jam (3:38) -> O1 (7:31) -> Days Between (11:19) -> Sugar Magnolia.
First set and show here is actually very solid. Garcia is alert, the band is playing in sync, and as a couple of the reviewers mentioned, it seemed like he was having fun at the show. The second set displays one of the better played versions of Unbroken Chain, as well as a sweet Eyes, for any era, but it really shines by '95 standards. Solid Corrina segues into an excellent 26 minute drums/space set (with Carter Beauford from DMB on drums) that makes way for an awesome Spanish Jam->Other One->Days Between->Sugar Magnolia. You can then hear someone in the band call out the Liberty encore, I'm just not sure who? Side note: About seven minutes into the space, I immediately recognized it; that, and really the entire remaining jam sequence through to` the end of set. Dead Hour from back in the day. Must've recorded it on cassette and listened several times since (last time, though, was probably about twenty years ago). Thank you, David Gans! ****
*Penultimate Spanish Jam. Last one played was 25 shows prior on 12/18/94; final one would be 10 shows later on 6/18/95.
